Ingredients: Stew Meat Baby Potatoes Lipton Onion Soup Mix Frozen Veggies Savory Herbs Yellow Onion Garlic Salt, Pepper, Flour, Cornstarch
Pat beef dry with a papertowel. In a large bowl, toss stew meat with flour, salt and pepper.
Working in batches, sear beef stew meat in a dutch oven over medium-high heat for 45 seconds. Meat should not be fully cooked.
In the same pan, cook onions and garlic until soft. Deglaze brown with red wine stirring up any brown bits.
Add beef stew meat, garlic, onions, potatoes and frozen soup veggies to a large slow cooker bowl.
Sprinkle with Lipton Onion Soup Mix and water. Stir together. Cook on low for 2-4 hours or on high for 6-8 hours.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, whisk together cornstarch and water. Add to stew to thicken.
Before serving, stir butter into beef stew until it melts. Serve warm with crispy bread or over egg noodles.
