CLASSIC CHICKEN SALAD RECIPE (Shredded Chicken Breast Recipe)

INGREDIENTS

STEP 1: Cook chicken breasts in crockpot.

Place chicken in crockpot and season chicken with salt and pepper. Pour chicken broth into bottom of crockpot. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. 

Step 2: Shred chicken breasts.  

Using two forks or a stand mixer, shred the chicken. Be sure to shred the chicken while it is still warm. 

STEP 3: Mix all ingredients.

Mix shredded chicken, chopped celery, red onion, , mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, tarragon, chives and thyme.

STEP 4: SERVE SHREDDED CHICKEN SALAD

- Serve in lettuce cups to keep this recipe gluten free! - Serve on a croissant for a classic chicken salad taste.  - Serve over top of a fresh salad for a healthy meal.
