Jalapeno Popper Marinade Ingredients

Orange Juice Soy Sauce Brown Sugar Black Pepper Salt Garlic

01. Make marinade. 

Mix all ingredients together and add dove breast. Marinate for 2 hours or up to overnight.

Jalapenos Bacon Dove Breast Cream Cheese

Don't have dove? Use a piece of brisket or steak!

02. Slice Jalapenos.

Slice jalapenos in half and remove seeds. We will build the dove poppers from these!

03. Add cream cheese.

Spread about a teaspoon of cream cheese in each jalapeno halve. Don't forget to soften the cream cheese.

04. Place dove meat on top of cream cheese.

If dove breast appear to be too large for the jalapeno, slice breast in half.

05. Add bacon and secure with a toothpick.

For a lighter Bacon-Wrapped Dove Jalapeno  Popper, use 1/4 slice of bacon or just a bite sized piece of bacon.

06. Bake in 350 degree oven.

Bake for an hour to an hour and a half. Dove poppers are done when bacon is crispy.  Jalapeno Dove Poppers are best served when warm.
